Diana Cruz new Head of the Norwegian Market at SLA

SLA strengthens its Norwegian operations with the appointment of Diana Cruz as the new Head of the Norwegian Market.

With a solid background in urban design and extensive national and international experience in urban planning and development, Diana will help further develop SLA Norways position as a leading actor in interdisciplinary, nature-based design solutions.

Diana Cruz holds a Master’s degree in Urban Design and has previously worked at, among others, Grimshaw, OMA, and KCAP.

She joins SLA from her position as Partner and Head of Urban Design and City Development at Nordic Office of Architecture.

SLA Norway was established in 2014 and currently has 25 employees working across scales and disciplines. The studio develops everything from comprehensive masterplans and strategic urban development projects to healing landscapes around healthcare buildings, transformation areas, and temporary urban spaces.

All projects are based on SLAs method, which places nature and human quality of life at the center drawing on insights from landscape architecture, biology, and anthropology.

Among the SLA Norways many standout projects are the Government Quarter, Bjørvika, the Viking Age Museum, and the Stavanger New University Hospital.
