Business Development Coordinator — Copenhagen

About the role and team
As our new Business Development Coordinator, you will play a key role in strengthening SLA’s international presence particularly in the UK, Canada, and the UAE.

This is a role with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic environment, where you will work closely with passionate and skilled colleagues. You will be part of SLA’s Business Development team in Copenhagen — a team with big ambitions and a strong drive — and collaborate with SLA’s leadership, partners, communications department, and architects across our three studios.

SLA is an award-winning, interdisciplinary nature-based design studio of 130 specialists working across three offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, and Aarhus. Bringing together twelve disciplines — including landscape architecture, urban planning, biology, anthropology, lighting design, ecology, architecture, planting expertise, and more — we work at the intersection of nature, people, and design.

We imagine you are someone who

— Has experience in business development, marketing, communications, and/or sales.
— Has an interest in — and ideally experience with — the creative industries, such as architecture or design.
— Can manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining a keen eye for detail.
— Excels in both written and visual communication (please showcase this in your application).
— Works proactively and independently in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
— Can work professionally in English (additional languages are a plus).

Your key responsibilities

As our Business Development Coordinator, you will:

— Conduct market research, identify potential clients, and track international tender opportunities.
— Prepare project applications such as ITTs, RFQs, RFIs and SQQs for international projects.
— Support the market responsible partners and leadership in international sales efforts by preparing pitch decks, marketing materials, portfolios, and presentations.
— Contribute to proposal writing and graphic layout for bids and submissions.
— Communicate with partners and clients in the early stages of new projects.

 

Working hours and conditions

The position is full-time (37 hours per week), and we are present at the office from Monday to Friday. Salary and terms follow our locally negotiated salary ladder.
