Research and analysis

Research-based knowledge is an important prerequisite for SLA ’s planning and urban spaces. In SLA ’s development department a team of art historians are in addition engaged in various research and analysis projects. We see it as a clear advantage that architects and analysts are under the same roof. In this way practice and theory can meet in a continuous dialogue that we believe is to the advantage of both fields.

SLA ’s main competence within research and analysis is conservation and the relationship between space and movement.

Some of the services SLA offers in this connection are:

  • Development and implementation of analysis projects on conservation, the relationship between space and movement and environmental psychology

  • Continuous participation in professional discussions i.a. through presentations and publications.

  • City life research, surveying and analysis of potential

  • Identity analysis and mapping of life-styles

  • Project management and time management

  • Programming

  • Planning and design

  • Evaluation and assessment
