SLA and Lundgård and Tranberg won the parrallel comission of the Beauvais site
Together with Lundgård and Tranberg SLA made a projekt proposal for the Municipality of Copenhagen for the development of the Beauvais site in Østerbro and the proposal has been recommended for further design development.
Situated at the outskirts of the city surrounded by heavy traffic the project proposes new recreative spaces among hills and paths for the space. The soil is pushed about and placed in smaller and larger hills to shield from the noise pollution in the area.
Some times it will be possible so look far while at other times you will be surprised by different and more intimate places. On the hills a whole different world will open. Here there is a view over the calm wavy tops, over the roaring cars and the blinking of the neonsigns on the big darkblue sky. Furter information at Lundgård og Tranbergs website (Danish only)
